Anxiety is one of the most common issues I treat when counseling children and teens. It is not uncommon for anxiety to co-occur with other issues, but anxiety in itself affects the daily lives of the children and teens who experience it, and can range from mild to debilitating. I am a member of the ADAA, Anxiety and Depression Association of America, and will be attending this webinar myself. However, it is free and is open to the public; both clinicians and parents are welcome to attend. If you aren’t able to attend, I will try to summarize some of the highlights in a follow up post. The following is the email I received from the ADAA.
Please attend or help us spread the word about the next ADAA public education webinar: How to Help Your Child Feel Less Anxious, More Capable, and Stronger
